And the little guy on the den tree is Mum’s Santa. Mum was Mr. Salmon’s grandmother [everyone called her Mum]. He has a great sac on his back that Santa stuffs with candy and all the kids looked for him on her tree to raid it! I’m honored that he resides in our house now (which used to be her house so it’s fitting, I think).
And of course we also needed some antlers (thanks neighbour!):

The mud room coat rack. The fur was a Serious Suzie Score–$50–and is in the best shape of any pre-owned fur I have ever seen. The skates came from a local craft fair in my home town.

Loving the Thanksgiving centerpiece! What is it? Pheasant feathers? And are those twig placemats?!?!

). And yes, the placemats are twig. I’ve had them for years and am always surprised by how many ways they can be worked into the decor.
